Serving Melbourne, Geelong, rural Victoria, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and the Sunshine Coast, Selective Support provides a specialised and unbiased supervised interaction service for families where parents are living separately and support is required to facilitate child–parent visits.
Our experienced team delivers a service that blends professionalism, innovation, and compassion. We recognise that meaningful parental involvement throughout the process produces the best outcomes for children and families, and our approach is designed to support this involvement wherever appropriate.
As an outreach service, we work closely with families to facilitate safe, constructive, and developmentally appropriate interactions. Sessions often begin in neutral community environments such as playgrounds and, when suitable, may transition into the home environment.
Our well-trained, certified, and experienced team is equipped to manage complex and high-risk situations, including matters involving domestic violence, with sensitivity, professionalism, and care. In addition to supervising interactions, we provide unbiased and factual documentation of each visit when required.
Selective Support is committed to Child Safe Practices and employs skilled supervisors of parent–child interaction. We uphold all national and state child-safe standards and work collaboratively with children to ensure their rights, needs, and best interests are respected in safe and supportive environments.
